Not wanting to pre-empt your Blog Smile

A debut OD tri of sub 2:40 is impressive.
Esepcially for a bloke who said this 5 weeks ago

30:32 says those fears were unfounded. What a Face

    How did you find it?

    Hey Dave,
was trying to find you but everyone looks the same..
I worked out some splits and was aiming for sub 3 hours so even accounting for the shortened bike I was pretty happy.. (afterwards)

Happy with swim time, but wanted to quit afterwards, swallowed so much water and even had a mini puke mid breath breathing on final leg Shocked . Took some of fluros advice and did some faster swimming and increased stroke rate, guess it helped but never felt comfortable and was crap at sighting..

Bike- happy with time, only slowed down a few times when @-holes were sucking wheel.

Run- more a walk/run, walked every lap in the off road sections as were out of sight of support crew.. Very Happy Need to lose 5kg (or so)

Well done on finishing on next to know training and injured.. In terms of your next goal, the word is that Kingsliff is on in September this year.. i am doing a run/swim focus until then..

I was the bloke in the black wetsuit and purple cap! jocolor
I know what you mean about sighting.
I think I need some sort of goggle/binocular hybrid.
Kingscliff could be a good test for progress for Noosa for me.
