You can edit Garmin files in Sport Tracks and best of all it is free. Once you add the activity, select edit activity, then select the data tracks option and then you can edit heart rate, cadence, elevation and power. Doesn't look like speed and distance are able to be edited though.

Gday tim. Can you edit elevation out of the file entirely and then export it again? This is my biggest bug bear with the Garmin files as the elevation stuffs up WKO rTSS readngs.

Alex
you can remove points individually or above and below set points.
the only problem seems to be the fact that it only exports the elevation figures and not the rest of the figures, hr, speed, distance, cadence, power.

Thanks mate, been trying. Seems that the file ends up being just an empty noting of just elevation. I export it as the other file type but WKO does not read that. WIll fiddle some more.
Also, does sports tracks do TSS? I could not find it but did read mention of someone saying it does.

Alex
ST does TSS once you have instaled the plugin called "Training Analysis"
It will give you a TSS score for the activity but doesnt allow you to make a graph of all previous TSS scores.
more explanation here

Hi Alex,
there is a plug in for Sports Tracks called elevation correction that allows the user to upload different elevation models (custom as well) and apply it to some or all of the workouts in the logbook. I assume that this would affect the TSS numbers in the affected workouts

Re: editing garmin 310xt files how?
Alex,
The plug in Training Load produces a Performance Management Chart similar to that of WKO but uses a TRIMP score instead of TSS. It tracks fatigue etc. I have not used WKO so am not really sure how it compares or what difference TRIMP has to TSS but give it a go.
Dave, a guy on the Sport Track forums used Wordpad to open the Garmin .tcx file. Once you find the where the Garmin 310 files are stored look in the history folder and these files can be edited to create a new or updated file. It looks tedious though.
