Now the under seat spares bag has been replaced by rocket launcher bottle holder with bottle shaped spares repository.
As I spend more time down on the bars, I am starting to contemplate the profile bottle as well.

I agree with Fluro, a very clean looking ride.

Andrew 2K for the lot, can you give us a breakdown of how you did it for the price (ie where you got the parts, frames, wheels etc from)?

    planet x usa

the dollar is very good right now.

complete rival build with wheels is 1700us. 180 odd for shipping and they were very helpful with shipping in multiple boxes on different days, seperate invoices etc, so no customs fees.

total to me was $2020. get on it

that's great value and sounds like great service too good work.

Given my place of employment, I'll turn a blind eye to the avoidance of customs duties Wink

Put this together recently - P2K frame with Ultegra drivetrain from an old TCR, frame from Aus cycling forum, original cervelo bars from ebay. Bit of a story behind the frame but managed to track down the original owner and where the frame was repainted (Singapore). Bloke I bought it off was going to cut all the lugs n stuff off and make it a singlespeed. Initially built with road bars then a few weeks back I put the TT bars/shifters on. Owes me about $850 with various bars/tape/cables/shifters/new saddle etc.

Now gotta learn to ride properly and do some tri's but will say the frame was meant to be ridden in the TT set up - rides really nice and is the newest bike I've owned!! Laughing

Only other bike was an old OCR3 that I'm in the process of building back into a roadie again (was SS for a while) - will be 8spd (SRAM cassette), Sora shifters, Tiagra RD, Ultegra FD, quill stem adapter with the bars that were initially on the Cervelo. Wasn't sure how the 105 shifters I have would go with the 8 spd so stuck with the Sora and know it will work. Not flash new gear but will be reliable and do what I need it to do. Just an example of what can be done on a fairly low budget for a part timer.
