Check this out. $889 OZ for an Alu frame/Carbon fork with FULL (ie including crank and brakes)bike purchased in OZ. 5 year frame warranty and 2 years on all the 'bits' Exceptional. I bought one. Have yet to see it but it was delivered to my poarents place in OZ in 2 days. The guy even threw in some LED flashers for free. Pretty awesome. Totally endorsed as a workhorse to knock out 20000km on at least!

Hey plaz, you accidentally the group set.

Nice bike by the way, you won't be getting the yoyo tick of approval though?

I think that Grant meant that you forgot to mention the groupset (ie that it's 105).

Great deal though - I'm tempted to get one as a dedicated commuter/wet-weather training bike

Hah. I initially bought the thing so that I did not have to take a bike with me for my few weeks in OZ. While a Baum with Lightweights would be preferable, I think the alu beast is the sensible choice.
