i cant spell it cause i cant do it. Only Japs and Mullion Creekers do breast stroke.

    23 + 3 for a 1:35 4.5 km swim, making 6.5 km for the day.

    total points 26

In tonights session we did a pyramid set
25, 50, 75, 100, 100, 75, 50, 25. each 25 metres gives you 30 seconds. Its pretty fun and intense. We did 2 runs of this then the good old 10 x 100 on 1:45. and to top it off 5 x 50 on 1 min. Needless to say i was almost KAPUT after this

Ratty, since I'm a cripple I'm not allowed to run or ride. So swim, swim, swim.

    Only 6.4km for me.

Come on spill the beans. Im thinking he must still be good for PMIM or he wouldnt be training the house down in the Mullion Creek Dam.

im not a cripple as such but im focussing on the swim ATM.

    Count back

last night i only claimed 3 points but should have claimed 4 points.

27 + 4 for a 4.6 km 1:30:20 swim on my lonesome, damn boring but im feeling really natural in the water. Thats what this challange is about right?

    total 31 points. Smile

    31 + 2 for a cramp ridden 2 km 44 minute swim.

    total 33 points

Tonight after a fatigueing (sp) day in the heat i just wanted to roll over the arms and kick the legs a bit. the first 200m i did I wasnt pushing hard but did it in 3:01. Thats only 3 seconds slower than my microman time, (although tonight i was in a gumby 25M pool), so i figure all this extra swimming is making me faster to a degree. Maybe ill do another 200M fresh on monday night at squads to see if its quicker.

    36 + 1 point for a 25 minute, 1250m recovery swim after a 185 km ride this morning.

rule clarification please.... do i get 3 extra points or 2?

3 Points - Swims done on a 7th consecutive day. ie swim Mon - Sun every day and the Sun gets 2 points. You DO NOT also attract the 3 day swim bonus points.
    Preliminary Total = 37 points.

    Okay im making a call

Swimming for 7 consecutive days attracts
2 bonus for the first 3 days (mon - wed)
+ 2 more bonus for the next 3 days (thur - Sat)
+ 2 points for doing the full 7 days. (mon - Sun)

    then the tally starts again.

    so for me
    total 33
Thread Post No 67 would have taken me to 38, 2 bonus for the 3 days, plus the 3 point for the swim
Thread Post No 68 would have taken me to 41, 2 bonus for the 7th day plus the 1 point for the swim
Thread Post No 70 would have taken me to 45, no bonus but 4 for the swim.

+ 1 point for tonights swim of 38 minutes 2km

    grand total 46 points.

Damn you guys pushing me to the point where im now addicted to swimming. It def making a difference to my ability.

I'm out. Off the bike on Sunday, concussion, stitches in my temple, AC joint tear has arm in a sling for at least 2 weeks, not to mention lots of missing bark. No pool for me for the rest of the month.
