Went to do mine this morning, but once again the winds were gale force. It was either going to be a awesome tailwind and a new world record Laughing or a granny gear grind into a headwind Laughing . I'll wait for things to calm down as it would be better to have a result where there is no wind.

Hey Alex. Pretty sure it was the right time, took the distance from bike computer and standing start. Part was downhill. Was pushing 55km at one point.

That's it! I am starting from the Mt Keira Bush Fire Brigade headquarters tomorrow. Should be able to break 1:40 if I can get off the line okay.

My plan was to hit the start solidly but not too hard then hold the speed above 50km. I did drift into the late 49s for a bit but did not see anything above 51 for the duration. Ouch.

That is good going. I was holding 45-46 for the most and faded a bit to get the 2:55. TT bike tomorrow so I should be a little faster.

This challenge is funny. You still have to pace each leg.

Did my training this morning down to the Velodrome, did the TT, and rode home. No aeroness here at all - standard helmet, no aero bars, R550 wheels, normal seat bags, pumps etc on bike and a very non-aero gut.

Aim was to put it to 40km/hr and hold it as long as I could, got to 39km/hr and it dropped steadily from there.

Standard road bike on outdoor velodrome. Pretty windy but I guess going round in circles probably cancels it out a bit.

Hey Cam, did you do IMWA? If you have a race pic of your set up I would be pretty keen to see being a fellow Femuslongus sufferer. After PeePee gave you a pasting re: set up a few years ago it sounds like you have aa pretty rad cda now. You still on the 114? Do you have a pic of the head tube set up I can see? I am in the market for a new tri bike and the P2C is the winner so far. I do recall you had a 61cm in that size once? How do you compare the geometry?

So many questions I know Basketball
